Auction result misses estimated price range
In October last year a collector was able to acquire the work "Scenografier/Set Constructions", 1995-99. by Miriam Bäckström for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,006.54). This price was achieved in the auction BLÅ – A Life Estate H065 at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miriam Bäckström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "29 Variations of Light", 2002 in November 2011 with an auction result of SEK 400,000.00 (€ 44,005.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Scenografier/Set Constructions", 1995-99. von Miriam Bäckström für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 1.006,54) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion BLÅ – A Life Estate H065 bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miriam Bäckström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "29 Variations of Light", 2002 im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 400.000,00 (€ 44.005,05).
