Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Rise Through The Web by Miranda Donovan for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,691.87). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Miranda Donovan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work You Can'T Escape in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 47,326.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Rise Through The Web von Miranda Donovan für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.691,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miranda Donovan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit You Can'T Escape im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 47.326,54).
