Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Skip On by Miranda Donovan was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2011. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,169.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Miranda Donovan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work You Can'T Escape in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 47,326.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Skip On von Miranda Donovan kam im März 2011 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.169,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miranda Donovan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit You Can'T Escape im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 47.326,54).
