In October 2018 Christies in New York held the auction The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints, which included the work Black Pulse 11 (lambda) by Mike and Doug Starn. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,824.57), 43% above the upper estimate. Other works by Mike and Doug Starn have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 16,250.00 (€ 10,438.08) in April 2008 for the work Trees.

Im Oktober 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black Pulse 11 (lambda) von Mike and Doug Starn zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.824,57) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Mike and Doug Starn haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 10.438,08) im April 2008 für die Arbeit Trees beobachtet.
