In the The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints auction, the work ATL Film Still # 8 changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,618.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Mike and Doug Starn have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2008 by the work Trees at USD 16,250.00 (€ 10,438.08).
