In the Modern Day Auction auction, the work Impossible Interviews - No. 19: Theodore Roosevelt vs. Franklin Delano Roosevelt sold for USD 75,600.00 (€ 70,450.10) - well above the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miguel Covarrubias achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In Preparation Of A Balinese Ceremony in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 8,440,000.00 (€ 868,922.59).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Miguel Covarrubias erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Impossible Interviews - No. 19: Theodore Roosevelt vs. Franklin Delano Roosevelt für USD 75.600,00 (€ 70.450,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miguel Covarrubias erzielen.
