Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Bale by Michael Landy for GBP 630.00 (€ 734.11). This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Landy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work H.2.N.Y. Tinguely Machine Erases its own Construction in 27 Minutes in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,853.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bale von Michael Landy für GBP 630,00 (€ 734,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Landy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit H.2.N.Y. Tinguely Machine Erases its own Construction in 27 Minutes im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 25.853,47).
