A top price for Michael Landy - as previously expected

Tinguely Machine Erases its own Construction in 27 Minutes by Michael Landy was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in February 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,853.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, H.2.N.Y. Tinguely Machine Erases its own Construction in 27 Minutes is the most expensive artwork by Michael Landy that we have observed at auctions so far.
