In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Semi-Detached, Lisa, John, Ethel, Maureen, And Michael Landy by Michael Landy for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,979.19). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michael Landy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work H.2.N.Y. Tinguely Machine Erases its own Construction in 27 Minutes in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,853.47).
