Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction (AUCTION) RED, which included the work Stripped Surface (Imperative) by Michael Joo. The »bidding war« ended at USD 85,800.00 (€ 56,495.69), 23% above the upper estimate. Other works by Michael Joo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 143,000.00 (€ 94,159.48) in February 2008 for the work Improved Rack (Elk #11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion (AUCTION) RED durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stripped Surface (Imperative) von Michael Joo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 85.800,00 (€ 56.495,69) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Michael Joo haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 143.000,00 (€ 94.159,48) im Februar 2008 für die Arbeit Improved Rack (Elk #11) beobachtet.
