Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Image (Symmet.) by Michael Joo was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,507.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Joo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Improved Rack (Elk #11) in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 143,000.00 (€ 94,159.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Image (Symmet.) von Michael Joo kam im April 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.507,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Joo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Improved Rack (Elk #11) im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 143.000,00 (€ 94.159,48).
