It achieved a price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,651.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Michael Bevilacqua; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hallelujah: It's a Girl sold at auction in May 2009 with the realized price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,467.65).

Die Arbeit Reach for the Sky von Michael Bevilacqua kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 15.651,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Michael Bevilacqua; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Hallelujah: It's a Girl im Mai 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.467,65).
