Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Dead Man’S Party by Michael Bevilacqua for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,986.13). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michael Bevilacqua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hallelujah: It's a Girl in May 2009 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,467.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dead Man’S Party von Michael Bevilacqua für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.986,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Bevilacqua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hallelujah: It's a Girl im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.467,65).
