Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Placebo Effect by Michael Bevilacqua. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,359.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Michael Bevilacqua have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2009 the work Hallelujah: It's a Girl was auctioned for USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,467.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Placebo Effect von Michael Bevilacqua zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.359,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Michael Bevilacqua konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2009 die Arbeit Hallelujah: It's a Girl für USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.467,65) versteigert.
