Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michael Bevilacqua could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Hoarder Sale auction, the work Joie De Vivre changed hands for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,920.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Bevilacqua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hallelujah: It's a Girl in May 2009 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,467.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michael Bevilacqua konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Hoarder Sale wechselte die Arbeit Joie De Vivre für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.920,56) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Bevilacqua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hallelujah: It's a Girl im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.467,65).
