Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work BUBBLEGUM FACTORY: Bubble Sub by Michael Bevilacqua for GBP 375.00 (€ 418.28). This price was achieved in the auction The World Is A Sphere: Art from the Faurschou Foundation at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Bevilacqua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hallelujah: It's a Girl in May 2009 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,467.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit BUBBLEGUM FACTORY: Bubble Sub von Michael Bevilacqua für GBP 375,00 (€ 418,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The World Is A Sphere: Art from the Faurschou Foundation bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Bevilacqua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hallelujah: It's a Girl im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.467,65).
