Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saint Jean d'Acre by Menachem Helholz-Or was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of USD 630.00 (€ 531.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Menachem Helholz-Or have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work City in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,419.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Saint Jean d'Acre von Menachem Helholz-Or wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 630,00 (€ 531,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Menachem Helholz-Or auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit City im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.419,91).
