This artwork by Menachem Helholz-Or achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. In the Impressionist & Modern Art | New York auction, the work Two Figures and Paint Brushes sold for USD 2,268.00 (€ 1,931.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 900.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Menachem Helholz-Or; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot City sold at auction in November 2009 with the realized price of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,419.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Menachem Helholz-Or erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | New York wurde die Arbeit Two Figures and Paint Brushes für USD 2.268,00 (€ 1.931,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 900,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Menachem Helholz-Or; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit City im November 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.419,91).
