This artwork by Menachem Helholz-Or achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. In the Impressionist & Modern Art | New York auction, the work City with Coastline sold for USD 2,268.00 (€ 1,931.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 900.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Menachem Helholz-Or; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot City sold at auction in November 2009 with the realized price of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,419.91).
