Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Abstract composition by Menachem Helholz-Or. The price achieved of USD 1,134.00 (€ 957.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Menachem Helholz-Or - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work City, which sold at auction in November 2009 for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,419.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract composition von Menachem Helholz-Or zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.134,00 (€ 957,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Menachem Helholz-Or mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit City beobachtet, die im November 2009 für GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.419,91) versteigert wurde.
