Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work #11 November; and #12 November by Max Cole was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,461.84). Admittedly, works by Max Cole have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mirage. 1986. in June this year with an auction result of CHF 24,700.00 (€ 25,279.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit #11 November; and #12 November von Max Cole kam im Oktober 2020 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.032,00 (€ 3.461,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Cole auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mirage. 1986. im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 24.700,00 (€ 25.279,05).
