This artwork by Matthias Hoch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in May 2014. In the Auktionen 222-228 - Third Floor auction, the work „Brüssel # 18“. sold for EUR 2,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Matthias Hoch; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Paris #8 sold at auction in June 2011 with the realized price of EUR 3,612.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Matthias Hoch erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Auktionen 222-228 - Third Floor wurde die Arbeit „Brüssel # 18“. für EUR 2.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Matthias Hoch; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Paris #8 im Juni 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 3.612,00.
