Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Untitled (DNA Series) by Mary Corse. Here, the upper estimate of USD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 435,000.00 (€ 394,772.67). Other works by Mary Corse have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 5,000,000.00 (€ 527,391.66) in December 2020 for the work Untitled (White/Black Inner Band Beveled).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (DNA Series) von Mary Corse zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 435.000,00 (€ 394.772,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Mary Corse haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.000.000,00 (€ 527.391,66) im Dezember 2020 für die Arbeit Untitled (White/Black Inner Band Beveled) beobachtet.
