The work Untitled (White Inner Band Beveled) by Mary Corse was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 107,922.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Admittedly, works by Mary Corse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (White/Black Inner Band Beveled) in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 5,000,000.00 (€ 527,391.66).

Die Arbeit Untitled (White Inner Band Beveled) von Mary Corse kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 107.922,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mary Corse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (White/Black Inner Band Beveled) im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.000.000,00 (€ 527.391,66).
