Auction result well in line with expectations

In June 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Jack And Jill I by Martin Mull. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,206.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Mull have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hero'S Welcome in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jack And Jill I von Martin Mull zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.206,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Mull auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hero'S Welcome im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44).
