Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study for A Walk in the Park I by Martin Mull was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in New York in July last year. The price achieved of USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,249.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Mull achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hero'S Welcome in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).

Die Arbeit Study for A Walk in the Park I von Martin Mull wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.249,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Mull erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hero'S Welcome im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44).
