Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fall From Grace by Martin Mull was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2011. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,813.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Mull have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hero'S Welcome in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).

Die Arbeit Fall From Grace von Martin Mull wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.813,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Mull auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hero'S Welcome im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44).
