It achieved a price of GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,610.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Creed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work No. 204: Half the air in a given space in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 118,869.06).

Die Arbeit Work No. 2342 von Martin Creed wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.386,00 (€ 1.610,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Creed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work No. 204: Half the air in a given space im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 118.869,06).
