Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Work No. 292 - SMALL THINGS by Martin Creed was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 25,500.00 (€ 29,707.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Martin Creed have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Work No. 204: Half the air in a given space in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 118,869.06).
