Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Talisman by Mark di Suvero for USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,454.71). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark di Suvero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tumbleweed II (Joint) in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 548,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Talisman von Mark di Suvero für USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.454,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark di Suvero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tumbleweed II (Joint) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 548.000,00.
