Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Moon Dog by Mark di Suvero. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,422.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark di Suvero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tumbleweed II (Joint) in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 548,000.00.
