Sold at the upper estimate price
This work without title by Marisa Merz was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2018. The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,830.74), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marisa Merz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 194,500.00 (€ 275,735.67).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Marisa Merz kam im Oktober 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.830,74) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marisa Merz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 194.500,00 (€ 275.735,67).
