Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Angelo O Cavaliere by Marisa Merz was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 35,840.00 (€ 32,856.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marisa Merz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 194,500.00 (€ 275,735.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Angelo O Cavaliere von Marisa Merz kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.840,00 (€ 32.856,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marisa Merz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 194.500,00 (€ 275.735,67).
