Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dany & Laura by María Berrío was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 81,900.00 (€ 76,872.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by María Berrío achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not in November last year with an auction result of USD 1,603,000.00 (€ 1,552,843.17).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 76.872,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von María Berrío erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.603.000,00 (€ 1.552.843,17).
