Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fleurs by Marcel Delmotte was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,855.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcel Delmotte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Colonnes D’Hercule in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,079.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fleurs von Marcel Delmotte wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.855,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcel Delmotte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Colonnes D’Hercule im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.079,71).
