Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Marcel Delmotte achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2020. In the Impressionist & Modern Art | London auction, the work Le Rêve D'Ophélie sold for GBP 11,340.00 (€ 12,592.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcel Delmotte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Colonnes D’Hercule, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,079.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcel Delmotte erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | London wurde die Arbeit Le Rêve D'Ophélie für GBP 11.340,00 (€ 12.592,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcel Delmotte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Colonnes D’Hercule beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.079,71) versteigert wurde.
