Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marcel Delmotte could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art | London Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction, the work Composition Abstraite (Bleu) changed hands for GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,594.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Delmotte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Colonnes D’Hercule in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,079.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcel Delmotte konnte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | London Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso wechselte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite (Bleu) für GBP 1.386,00 (€ 1.594,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Delmotte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Colonnes D’Hercule im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.079,71).
