Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Fleurs by Marcel Delmotte. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,298.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcel Delmotte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Colonnes D’Hercule in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,079.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fleurs von Marcel Delmotte zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.298,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcel Delmotte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Colonnes D’Hercule im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.079,71).
