A top price for Maaike Schoorel - as previously expected
The work The Picnic by Maaike Schoorel was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,469.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Picnic is the most expensive artwork by Maaike Schoorel that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit The Picnic von Maaike Schoorel kam im März 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.469,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Picnic das teuerste Kunstwerk von Maaike Schoorel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
