Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Maaike Schoorel could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Day Sale auction, the work Emma-Louise On Her Bed changed hands for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,388.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Maaike Schoorel have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2016 by the work The Picnic at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,469.49).
