Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2017 Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Easter Parade by Maaike Schoorel. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,756.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Maaike Schoorel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2016 the work The Picnic was auctioned for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,469.49).

Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Easter Parade von Maaike Schoorel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.756,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Maaike Schoorel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2016 die Arbeit The Picnic für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.469,49) versteigert.
