Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lisa by Maaike Schoorel was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in April 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,226.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maaike Schoorel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Picnic in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,469.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lisa von Maaike Schoorel wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.226,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maaike Schoorel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Picnic im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.469,49).
