The work Time Out by Luis González Palma was sold in the Important Photographs from the Collection of Dr. Anthony Terrana auction at Phillips in New York in April 2013. The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,556.50) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luis González Palma have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Loteria I, 1989 in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,775.42).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Time Out von Luis González Palma wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Important Photographs from the Collection of Dr. Anthony Terrana bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.556,50) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luis González Palma auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Loteria I, 1989 im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.775,42).
