Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coronación Ii by Luis González Palma was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July 2020. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,308.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luis González Palma have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Loteria I, 1989 in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,775.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Coronación Ii von Luis González Palma kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.308,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luis González Palma auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Loteria I, 1989 im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.775,42).
