A top price for Luis González Palma - as previously expected
In March 2014 Christies in New York held the auction BARRY FRIEDMAN: THE ECLECTIC EYE Evening Sale and Day Sale, which included the work La Loteria I, 1989 by Luis González Palma. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,775.42), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Loteria I, 1989 is the most expensive artwork by Luis González Palma that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion BARRY FRIEDMAN: THE ECLECTIC EYE Evening Sale and Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Loteria I, 1989 von Luis González Palma zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.775,42) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist La Loteria I, 1989 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Luis González Palma, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
