This work without title by Lucy Bull was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 81,900.00 (€ 76,872.54), 64% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucy Bull achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 8:50 in June last year with an auction result of HKD 11,382,000.00 (€ 1,385,105.36).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lucy Bull wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 76.872,54) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucy Bull erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 8:50 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.382.000,00 (€ 1.385.105,36).
