Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lucy Bull was auctioned at Christies in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 72,341.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucy Bull achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 8:50 in June last year with an auction result of HKD 11,382,000.00 (€ 1,385,105.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lucy Bull kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 72.341,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucy Bull erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 8:50 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.382.000,00 (€ 1.385.105,36).
