This artwork by Lucy Bull achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. In the Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou auction, the work Snail Effects sold for HKD 7,308,000.00 (€ 857,557.76) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 3,800,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lucy Bull; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 8:50 sold at auction in June last year with the realized price of HKD 11,382,000.00 (€ 1,385,105.36).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucy Bull erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou wurde die Arbeit Snail Effects für HKD 7.308.000,00 (€ 857.557,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 3.800.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lucy Bull; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit 8:50 im Juni letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 11.382.000,00 (€ 1.385.105,36).
