Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Luciano Fabro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2018. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Computer Forbice sold for GBP 65,000.00 (€ 73,299.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luciano Fabro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,714,500.00 (€ 3,796,907.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luciano Fabro erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Computer Forbice für GBP 65.000,00 (€ 73.299,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luciano Fabro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.714.500,00 (€ 3.796.907,49).
