Sold at the lower estimate price
In May 2019 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work De Italia (From Italy) by Luciano Fabro. The result of EUR 10,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luciano Fabro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,714,500.00 (€ 3,796,907.49).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit De Italia (From Italy) von Luciano Fabro zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luciano Fabro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.714.500,00 (€ 3.796.907,49).
